Our History
Who We Are
ACK St James primary school was established by ACK Cathedral ladies with the memorial stone being laid on 15 th of November 1993 in honor of Fiona Wacuka Karuri by Rt. Rev. John Mahiaini. The school started as a day school but is now a boarding and day school for boys and girls. It is situated in Murang’a town for pupils from the playgroup class up to those in class 8 and currently has a capacity of over 800 pupils. The school offers the Competence Based Curriculum (CBC) and the 8-4-4 system. We provide a holistic environment that empowers our learners with the opportunity to grow, develop and exploit their abilities, potential and talents whilst empowering and inspiring them to be confident and self-aware so as to prepare them to lead purposeful lives of meaningful and constructive service to the world.
ACK St James primary school provides wholistic education in a Happy, Secure and Stimulating learning environment, in which all members of the school community can grow in confidence and realize their highest potential.
